Housing Options
Prince Hall Housing Authority is made up of 2 phases of apartments:
Prince Hall Plaza (Section 8 Multi-family housing)
Prince Hall Towers (Section 202/8 Elderly/Disabled housing).
Prince Hall Plaza
Rent amounts are income-based and the cost at move-in is a Security Deposit (also income-based) and the first month’s rent.
All units are total electric – Utilities are included with the calculated rent (Water, Sewage, Trash Removal and Electricity)
Prince Hall Towers
Residents in Prince Hall Towers are responsible for the electric bill in their units. The calculated rent for Prince Hall Towers is adjusted to reflect the Utility Allowance deductions. Contact the office staff if you have questions regarding the Utility Allowance information.
Rent amounts are based on income; the rent amount may be adjusted annually after the required recertification has been conducted. The rent can be adjusted between recertification periods for drastic changes in income or for qualified medical expense deductions.
